Tom is a three-time Georgia state champion clawhammer banjo player, prior Arkansas state champion, and winner of various festival and regional competitions. He plays professionally for The Georgia Mudcats and has played in numerous old-time and Celtic bands. Tom also has expert woodworking and carving skills that enable him to hand craft banjos of exceptional quality and tone. His playing skills provide insights that allow him to build banjos with unique sound.
